The Dave Blenkhorn / Andrew Dickeson Quartet (UK) – Friday, 29th of April 2022:
Australian guitarist dave Blenkhorn has been based in France since 2010 playing straight-ahead jazz guitar in the style of Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, and Herb Ellis.
He’s played with a great many elite musicians like Cecile Mclorin Salvant, Harry Allen, Warren Vache, David Torkanowsky amongst many others.
He’s also been recording with singer-songwriter Judith Owen and has made recent recordings with New York saxophonist Harry Allen.
On Friday, April 29 he returns to Foundry 616 for one night only – Who is a cooking band of his musical buddies – Andrew Dickeson – Drums, Brad Child – saxophone, and Jacob Graham – double bass. Expect a night of swinging fun, great tunes, and feel-good music!
