Jack Hawthorne Quartet – Tuesday, 26th of March 2024:
Jack Hawthorne is a Sydney-based guitarist emerging quickly into the Sydney jazz scene.
Jack is back at Foundry in March 2024 for what is sure to be an exciting evening! After an exhilarating night back in October, Jack has come back with newly inspired compositions to
add to his already comprehensive repertoire. Drawing from some of his favourite composers including Keith Jarrett, Brad Mehldau, Pat Metheny, and James Muller, Jack’s unique compositions blends interesting melodies with fascinating harmony and rhythm.
Jack is once again joined by established Sydney musicians, Freddie Stafford (piano), Elliott Carter (drums), and Cairn Peterson (bass). They will be playing their own arrangements of famous standards to accompany Jack’s original works.
