Gregg Arthur “Unforgettable” – A Portrait Of Nat King Cole – Saturday, 25th of March, 2023:
From Straighten Up And Fly Right, to Stardust and Unforgettable, right through to Nat King Cole’s final recording L-O-V-E.
Gregg Arthur lovingly pays homage to not only one of the greatest singers of the 20th century, but also one of the greatest jazz pianists, admired by everyone in his day including the great Oscar Peterson.
Gregg’s warm tenor voice and wonderful phrasing bring his unique take on the Nat King Cole songbook to life on stage at Foundry 616.
Gregg is joined by Peter Locke on piano, who has studied and performed the Nat King Cole trio songbook for decades. Along with Craig Scott on bass, Andrew Dickeson on drums, and the extraordinary Craig Walters on tenor saxophone, this is a night of music not to be missed.

“… this exceptional singer, like Sinatra, delivers immortal melodies with impeccable phrasing” – The Weekend Australian
