The Mike Nock Five – Saturday, 22nd of April 2023:
A club favourite since Foundry first opened, pianist/composer Mike Nock brings a dynamic new combination to the club.
For this very special date, Mike will be joined by leading established musicians, Karl Laskowski and bassist Brett Hirst, combining with young firebrands, alto saxophonist Ben Lerner and drummer George Greenhill.
The group will play Mike’s celebrated compositions plus a selection of standards. Mike’s shows at Foundry are always a highlight of the local jazz scene and you can expect a night of exceptional and exciting music!
