Justin Yeo Quartet ft Leah Berry – Thursday, 21st of December 2023:
On this special night, the Justin Yeo Quartet will return to the Foundry616, only this time they will be in full swing for the festive season.
This night will feature one of Sydney’s finest young vocalists, Leah Berry. Having worked with Justin for over 6 years, from their early high school days to the present at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, their musical chemistry and shared passion for jazz have led them to create a special sound.
Elliot Carter will join Leah and Justin on Drums, Matthew Ling on Bass, and Thomas Odell on Piano. Together this group will perform some unique arrangements of fan-favourite Christmas Jazz Classics including “Let it Snow” and “White Christmas”.

These young players are developing a strong musical bond while playing a lot of jazz tradition. I was thrilled with their opening of Yes or No by the great Wayne Shorter. The rhythm section of Cairn Peterson (bass) and Elliott Carter (drums) is also an exciting pairing. Both players generate a lot of very tasteful energy. This will be a great night of music.”
