The Mark Ginsburg Band – Saturday, 12th of August, 2023:
Saxophonist Mark Ginsburg continues to field diverse, interesting projects, including Convergence, by the Mezza / Ginsburg Ensemble, the popular South African Project, and more recently, Oceans Together, which toured New South Wales in early 2023. His Generations album was nominated for Best Independent Jazz Album by Australian Independent Record Association and the Convergence album was awarded Best Jazz CD by The Indie Acoustic Project in the USA.
The Mark Ginsburg Band, another of his ongoing ensembles, will perform at Foundry616 on Saturday, August 12, featuring Jackson Harrison (piano), Karl Dunnicliff (bass) and Nick McBride (drums). The band will play a mix of original compositions, including tracks from recent CD releases, as well as a selection of jazz standards.
