Sprouted during lockdown after a long time in gestation and unsuccessful attempts to grow passionfruit, Green Thumbs plays original music steeped in the blues and groove with healthy fertilisation of modern jazz, and that speaks to the photosynthetic power of people sharing a live music space.
Emerging from the greenhouse after a few months in rehearsal, tonight’s show marks Green Thumbs’ launch and a preview of an album to be recorded the same week.
Steve Barry – Hammond organ | Roy Issac – guitar | Hamish Stuart – drums
