Music of Miles, Herbie & Trane Rodric White & his Quintet:
Pianist Rodric White and his Quintet perform an exciting evening of music by Jazz legends Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock & John Coltrane. Rodric has written new 6 piece band arrangements over the past few months: Miles Davis (Milestones, Fran Dance, Lady Bird / Half Nelson, & Israel ), Herbie Hancock (Butterfly, Toys & Jessica) & John Coltrane (Moment’s Notice, Theme for Ernie & Blue Train).
Rodric is delighted to perform with trumpeter Ralph Pyl (Sydney All-Star Big Band), saxophonist Jason Morphett (The Benders, Free Spirits, Warwick Alder Quartet), trombonist Danny Carmichael (Danny Carmichael Big Band), bass player Peter Kohlhoff (Frances Madden Band) & drummer Steve Ley (Jeff Duff & Patricia Ségui).
