Noria and the Parisians bring the vibrant sounds of Manouche music alive with all its famous verve, swing and string-busting excitement.
Joining acclaimed French chanteuse Noria Letts are legendary guitarist Peter Baylor and accordion virtuoso Dave Evans.
Noria has embarked on an ambitious project to revive the seldom-heard French lyrics of Manouche classics and reworks many other French gems into this vivacious musical style.
It’s the era of Django Reinhardt’s Quintette du Hot Club de Jazz brought back with a sparkling contemporary twist.
Totally authentic, with a rich soulful voice Noria has performed in clubs across France, Switzerland, Canada and New York and is now based in Melbourne.
Noria headed the bill at Australia’s premier gypsy jazz festival OzManouche in Brisbane as well as Melbourne’s Bastille Day Festival. She was also honoured to sing La Marseillaise for a global TV audience and capacity crowd at Marvel Stadium before the recent Matildas v France women’s football international.
“An absolutely unforgettable evening… Noria gave all her heart and soul!” – Forever French – Eastside FM 89.7, Sydney
