Dom Roche is a rising guitarist based in Sydney, currently studying Jazz at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He’s recently become an active participant in the local jazz scene, bringing his Bop-influenced style shaped by legends like Tal Farlow, Jimmy Raney, and Bud Powell.
Freddie Stafford is a young and promising jazz pianist and composer, also studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. At just 19, Freddie has already gained recognition, performing internationally and collaborating with some of Sydney’s top musicians. His playing, deeply rooted in tradition, draws inspiration from jazz greats such as Bud Powell and Sonny Clark, while also incorporating influences from classical and contemporary music to create a fresh and innovative sound.
Together, Dom and Freddie, joined by Tim Geldens and Jacob Graham, will present an evening of jazz standards. From Bud Powell to Gershwin, expect a night of swinging, timeless music.
