Emily Granger – harpist
Emily Granger (USA) has firmly established herself in the Australian concert scene, with a busy schedule as a soloist and chamber musician, in partnership with some of the country’s finest musicians (both classical and popular) and presenters. As an orchestral harpist, Emily has performed around the world as Guest Principal with the Chicago, Sydney, and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Orchestra Victoria, and Opera Australia Orchestra.
Emily has performed at the Sydney, Ravinia, Craven Creek, Bellingen, Ear Taxi, and Lyon & Healy 150th Birthday Festivals. She has performed with Yo-Yo Ma, Renée Fleming, Janelle Monáe, Hugh Jackman, Sarah Blasko, International Chamber Artists, Flinders Quartet, and Nexas Saxophone Quartet and has performed recitals at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage.
Van-Anh Nguyen – pianist
Having had five #1 hits on the Australian iTunes Classical charts and 2 albums in the ARIA Classical & Classical/Crossover Charts, Universal Music/Decca Records signed concert pianist & composer Van-Anh Nguyen has become a worldwide sensation and in-demand artist, leading an intense touring career across the globe. She has graced the stages of the Sydney Opera House, City Recital Hall (AUS), Herbst Theater (SF/USA), Microsoft Theater (LA/USA), Forbidden City Concert Hall (China) and the Hanoi Opera House (Vietnam) to name a few.
Born to Vietnamese refugee musicians and having started piano studies at the tender age of 13 months old, Australian born concert pianist gave her Sydney Opera House debut at age 8. Van-Anh has featured in L’Officiel Magazine, Elle Magazine Vietnam Harper’s Bazaar and Marie Claire as a classical music icon. She has had her own TV show on Discovery Channel Asia and founded a wine pairing concert series.
Andrew Blanch – classical guitarist
Andrew Blanch is a competition-winning guitarist, an ABC recording artist, and was recently featured on the front-cover of Limelight Magazine as part of their ‘Gen Next: 30 Brilliant Young Musicians Making Their Mark’ feature. Andrew’s debut album ‘Spanish Guitar Music’ (2015) was commended by Soundboard Magazine (USA) as “one of the best debut albums I’ve ever heard”. His second release, ‘Alchemy’ (2020) with Ariel Nurhadi peaking at #2 on the ARIA Classical Albums chart, has been described as a “ripper of an album” (Daily Telegraph), and is Limelight Magazine’s ‘Recording of the Month’ for the month of November.
Andrew has performed at the Sydney Opera House as part of the Sydney Classical Guitar Festival, toured across the UK, Italy and Spain including a solo performance at the Joaquin Rodrigo Festival.
Andrew plays a 2014 Greg Smallman and Sons guitar, is based in Sydney, Australia, and is managed by Tier 1 Arts.
