Drummer/Bandleader Andrew Dickeson is very excited to be joining with some of his favourite musicians to celebrate the great “tenor battle” tradition at Foundry 616 on Friday, 26th of November.
Following in the footsteps of such classic tenor teams as Lester Young/Herschel Evans, Johnny Griffin/Lockjaw Davis, and Sonny Stitt/Gene Ammons – this is gonna be a HOT night of swingin’ jazz music!
With the dynamic saxophones of David Theak and Chris O’Dea, with the always swinging John Harkins and Jacob Graham, this is a night not to be missed.
You can expect foot-tapping swing, soulful blues, and lush ballads.
