Liam Burrows presents ‘Back To The 20’s- The Jazz Age’
Now we’ve hit the 2020s, there is no better time than to reflect on the wonderful music produced by the greats of the twenties.
Liam is a phenomenal jazz vocalist, his unique swing style and voice are extraordinary. He is an intensely captivating performer who has been taking his music to national and international audiences, headlining at major Australian Jazz Festivals and performing with his quartet at iconic jazz venues. Liam has appeared internationally in LA, Hong Kong, Auckland and at the Waiheke and Tauranga Jazz Festival.
Throughout his career, Liam has received many significant accolades; his most distinguished to date was being invited to perform in the highly prestigious Thelonius Monk Institute International Jazz Vocal Competition in LA. This was an incredible achievement for a young Australian jazz vocalist chosen from a worldwide field, he was one of 3 artists residing outside the US. Performing with Rodney Whitaker and Reginald Thomas was indeed a high point in his career.
Liam’s latest achievement is the recent release of his new album titled ‘Feel Free’ which is available online and through his website.
In this new show ‘Back to the 20’s’ he will be singing the wonderful music of George and Ira Gerswin, Hoagy Carmichael, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and other greats of the Jazz Age era.

With roots in Jazz, RnB, Soul, and Pop, Jodi’s velvet vocals are decadently framed. Her tone is soft and warm, matched with effortless performance. She has performed across the country with artists like Guy Sebastian and Deni Hines and continues to grow as an emerging artist.
