Leah Berry Quartet – Tuesday, 18th of October 2022:
Leah Berry is an up-and-coming Jazz Vocalist from Sydney. Performing since she was 15, she was a featured artist in Schools Spectacular in 2018 and 2019, and a graduate of the Talent Development Project.
She is currently studying Jazz Vocal Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and involved with the Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra.
Leah has recorded with the TDP in 2019 and more recently with Chuey on his debut EP “Tableaux” on the track “Without It”.
Her band will feature Yannick Koffi on Guitar, Nick Jansen on Bass, and George Greenhill on Drums, and will be presenting thoughtful arrangements of our favourite standards.
Kevin Hunt said about Leah: “Her deep approach and attention to detail is paying well in her performances […] And makes me think of how the accompanists would enjoy working more closely with her concepts and delivery”.
