The Foundry invites you to a very special evening celebrating the wonderful music of Ella and Frank. Let your senses are charmed by two of Sydney’s finest jazz vocalists Liam Burrows and Tiana Young bringing to you the most memorable music. This will be an evening of pure class revisiting the enduring American Songbook tunes brought to life last century by the magnificent  Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra.

 Liam Burrows

Liam is a phenomenal jazz vocalist, his unique swing style and voice are extraordinary.  He is an intensely captivating performer who has been taking his music to national and international audiences.  Liam has received many significant accolades including being invited to perform in the highly prestigious Thelonius Monk Institute International Jazz Vocal Competition in LA.

Liam’s latest achievement is the recent release of his new album titled ‘Feel Free’ which is available online and through his website.


Tiana Young

Tiana Young is an up-and-coming vocalist and arranger. She is experienced in various styles and genres, and as a student in her final year at the Sydney Conservatorium, she has dedicated herself to learning the ins and outs of some of the greatest jazz performers and vocalists of all time. Tiana has worked with and learned from some of the best in the Sydney and Central Coast scenes, such as Judy Bailey, Andrew Dickeson, Kevin Hunt, Craig Scott, Rodric White and Ashley Turner. She has also spent a year in Germany exploring the European Jazz scene, performing with various bands and artists including Lulo Reinhardt and the Marvin Dorfler Big Band. As Ella Fitzgerald is one of Tiana’s first jazz inspirations, she is excited to pay tribute to the legend herself
