Acknowledged as one of Australia’s most distinguished jazz and soul artists, multilingual vocalist Virna Sanzone brings together the crème of Australian jazz for a very special performance in celebration of Bastille Day.
A French speaker from birth, tonight Virna will bring a completely French repertoire to the Foundry616 stage, delighting fans old and new with rarely heard gems as well as well-known chansons. Combining her effortlessly produced, soul and jazz-infused sound with a hypnotic improvisational approach and the influence of her rich cultural heritage, Virna creates a passionate delivery that all vocalists dream of achieving.
