Dale Barlow Quintet – Friday, 13th of January, 2023
After five years overseas master saxophonist Dale Barlow returns to Foundry 616 on January 13 leading a band of long-term musical collaborators.
Barlow has long been one of the leading lights of Modern Jazz in Australia – as well as forging an illustrious international career with greats such as Art Blakey, Cedar Walton, and Chet Baker among many.
This special night at Foundry reunites Dale with some of Australia’s finest; Warwick Alder on trumpet, Andrew Dickeson on drums, John Harkins on piano, and Brendan Clarke on bass.
This will be an unmissable night of exciting, hard-swinging “Hard Bop” of the highest order.
