An ongoing project to celebrate the music of the great be-bop composer Tadd Dameron, Jahbero’s thrilling approach to his music has captured the attention of Sydney’s jazz fans.
Since Jahbero’s debut, a little more than 18 months ago, the band has become a by-word for sophisticated but exciting music celebrating the overlooked composer and arranger who was to be-bop what Ellington and Basie were to swing music.
Now you’ll hear them with a special guest, Eric Alexander, one of the leading tenor saxophonists of his generation. Don’t miss it!
