Mosaic is back at foundry616 celebrating the launch of their debut single – Come Rain or Shine!

Mosaic is a vibrant 10-piece contemporary Jazz ensemble rapidly emerging as an exciting force in the Sydney Jazz scene.

Performing and premiering all new bespoke compositions written for the band, Mosaic play with a uniquely youthful and Australian sound.

As part of their residency at FineMusicSydney, Mosaic have recorded and released their debut single “Come Rain or Shine”, releasing on all platforms September 3rd. This single features a longtime friend and collaborator of the band, this performance’s special guest – Leah Berry!

Jazz Vocalist Leah Berry is establishing herself as a notable emerging figure in the Sydney jazz scene. She is an impressive performer, improviser and lyricist, who captivates audiences with her soulful and velvety tone. Leah is currently studying Jazz Vocal Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, taking inspiration from jazz greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae and Sarah Vaughan.

This is your last chance to see Mosaic at Foundry616 before their ‘Where We Are Now” Album tour, so don’t miss out!

“[Mosaic is] a mighty project that our scene has desperately been missing for many years!” – Andrew Robertson, AR Big Band, Composer & Arranger

“[Leah’s] deep approach and attention to detail is paying well in her performances … And makes me think of how the accompanists would enjoy working more closely with her concepts and delivery.” Kevin Hunt, Sydney Conservatorium of Music
