26 July Wednesday – Jayden Clark Quartet
Wednesday 26 July, 8.00pm
Join us for the exciting debut of this fresh young talent at Foundry616, as 18 year old tenor saxophonist Jayden Clark performs original music as well as an assortment of jazz standards.
Following studies at the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music at an early age along with New York Saxophonist Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Jayden has had the opportunity to play with a diverse range of established musicians and groups such as The Andrew Dickeson Trio, Barney Mcall, Vincent Gardner, Reggie Thomas and Miguel Zenon.
Other notable mentors include saxophonists Seamus Blake and David Sanchez. Jayden has recently completed his first semester at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and during this time has worked closely and learned from Michael Rivett and David Theak.
After receiving a full tuition scholarship, Jayden will soon move to San Francisco to continue his undergraduate studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, so be sure not to miss this!
